Pilot Scheme on Training Subsidy for Fintech Practitioners

In September 2022, the Government launched the Pilot Scheme on Training Subsidy for Fintech Practitioners to promote the professional development of fintech talent and expand the fintech talent pool in Hong Kong. Under the Scheme, practitioners who have attained fintech professional qualifications can receive reimbursement of up to 80% of the training costs.

The Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau has commissioned the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers to implement the Scheme for the banking sector.
