Responsible for the work of W, E and T Divisions
Co-ordinating the capital works Resource Allocation Exercise (RAE) and overseeing the use of resources from the Capital Works Reserve Fund for works projects and related land acquisition
Clearing the Government's submissions to the Public Works Subcommittee, and serving as the Government's standing representative on this committee
Policy responsibility for government procurement and tenders, including attendance at the Central Tender Board, the Central Consultants Selection Board and Engineering and Associated Consultants Selection Board
Policy and housekeeping responsibilities for the Government Logistics Department, Government Property Agency, and the Treasury
Housekeeping responsibilities for Audit Commission
